ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

-Natural collagen - is the most valuable component which stimulates renewal processes and deeply regenerates and firms the skin. By doing so, it evens out skin tissue defects. It provides skin elasticity and firmness, improves the condition of the skin and its overall appearance. It has a high water binding capacity, which affects the skin's moisture content.

-Dragon tree resin/dragon's blood - red resin is obtained from Dracaena Cochinchinensis tree. In traditional Chinese medicine, this component is attributed to the effect of stimulating blood circulation. Recent research showed that this resin has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and at the same time strengthens immune functions and supports skin rebuilding processes. Various valuable compounds have been isolated from the plant, including Loureirin A, B and C, as well as resveratrol and hydroxyphenyl.

-Babassu oil - has a moisturising and softening effect, thus improving skin elasticity. As a moisturizer, it prevents the loss of skin’s moisture and reinforces its lipid barrier. The oil also contains a significant amount of saturated lauric acid, which has strong antibacterial and antiseptic properties. It also contains high amounts of unsaturated fatty acids, such as oleic and linoleic acids.

-Elastin -  is a protein that inherently appears alongside collagen. Together, these proteins create an elastic net within the dermis, making the skin firm and supple. They also provide support for fibroblasts. Like collagen, elastin has regenerative properties.

-Lactic acid - is a fruit acid that belongs to the group of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). Depending on its concentration, lactic acid can act as an exfoliating, regenerating and moisturising substance. This acid works best at pH 3-4 levels. Clinical tests have unequivocally shown that products containing fruit acids have a positive effect on the condition and appearance of the skin. Such preparations are particularly recommended for people with dry skin and with visible signs of ageing. Lactic acid, similarly to caprylic glycol, is an effective substance when it comes to transepidermal penetration, i.e. it facilitates the absorption of other nourishing and regenerating substances.

-Caprylyl glycol - is an alcohol derivative of the fatty acid. It occurs naturally in the milk of certain mammals and coconut oil, among others. The presence of a fat molecule makes this ingredient gently lubricate the skin, forming a layer on its surface that prevents losses of water, at the same time smoothing and softening the skin. It is an excellent moisturising ingredient. It rebuilds the epidermal lipid barrier, which is damaged e.g. during washing or sunbathing. Thanks to its structure and low molecular mass, it also supports the transport of ingredients into deeper layers, thus increasing their effectiveness.
